How People Beat The Odds After A Rough Childhood

Thank you Dr. Hallowell for sharing your truth and for more than surviving but thriving to share this with others such as myself and for all you do for children. Many years ago during a session with an amazing psychologist I asked him if I made all this up ( meaning my childhood:( I honestly thought everyone went through similar. He guaranteed me that not only did I not make my childhood stories up but they were real and no not everyone has a similar childhood. It was at that time I realized I too had survived but there must be a reason and there is. Now as a mother, nana, Family Constellation Facilitator and soon to be published author of my life story I know in the depth of my soul that everything I went through was paving the path to assist in others who too wanted healing of their childhood, and to thrive!!!
